You have to use it.
My recent experience with a Celeron Toshiba laptop almost discouraged me from using any laptops in the future. To truely know a laptop sucks, you really have to use it for a week or so. If it does indeed suck, then return it.
On the contrary, my (dad’s) recent investment has really made my days. To truely know a laptop is stable, powerful, and comfortable to use, again, you really have to use it for a while.

Other than the pre-installed software that come bundled with the Dell Inspiron 630m, it is definitely the perfect laptop for me. The specs are pretty damn good, and it didn’t cost me an arm or leg. To all who want a laptop, I recommend it for all consumer purposes.
Your first mistake was even looking at something that said “Celeron” on it. Laptops are a peice of work though. I have an HP laptop that I love. It’s not the greatest, but for what I payed it does the job. I have some friends with the same model and they detest it and it has all these issues that mine doesn’t. It seems completely random in the world of laptops.
I so want one of these babies.
I guess each person has a preference for laptops. I’m just glad I found mine.
Elliot those babies cost at least an arm and a finger. :P
I too have an HP (hp pavilion dv4000) and I haven’t had any problems with it.
SONY. sheesh, how many times do I have to tell you.
Although it does cost an arm and a finger, as you said. This is worth every penny, I assure you.
Mine ships in four days!
my violin teacher has that laptop, and its really fast. Also, just wanted to say that this is a great site Oliver.
I was wondering the brand of that laptop, several of the students here on campus have that model. And its nice and small and caught my attention. Now I just need to make some money, anyone need a website? :P heh
@Elliot: I want one too, wish I had lots of money to throw around and buy a Macbookpro. Also I don’t think apple will accept body parts as payment!
my cousin has a laptop and its slow the weird thing she just got it!
